Although the world develops much faster and better, the resources on the earth get fewer and fewer.  As we develop our technology, we demand more from our planet.  Eventually, this will harm people as well.

Earth is our only home in the space, still, we cannot find another shelter without it. However, due to irrational development, because of the waste of natural resources, we are doing harm to the earth. Although the world develops much faster and better, the resources on the earth get fewer and fewer. In order to protect them, something must be done, as we know protecting the environment is to protect ourselves.

However, there is something we can do to save the earth:

First, save water. Water is the source of life. Without water, no life. So it’s very important for us to do so. Not only should we protect the drinking water and stop polluting it, but also make full use of it. Because if we go on polluting water, the last drop of water will be our tears

Second, save electricity. It is crucial. We can’t imagine what life will be like without it. Everyone should do his best to save electricity. Don’t forget to turn off lights or other electric machines when we finish working. If more and more people have realized these problems, we can leave more resources for our children.

Third, save forests. They are useful.Please stop cutting them down and use recycled paper instead. Make our world a green one to live in. Without the beach, we can’t enjoy the sea. Without the sun, there isn’t a beautiful moon either. Without the environment, we will lose home

At last, recycle useful rubbish. Plenty of rubbish can be recycled like cans, paper, bottles, and so on. We can save resources in this way. The earth is our home and we have the duty to take care of it for ourselves and for our later generations.

Only by changing the way we treat the environment can we get along well with it. Only by saving the environment can save ourselves. Keep in mind that we need not do big things, we can start out small. With these efforts, I hope we can cherish and protect the earth, and leave a better earth for our children. Although environmental protection is a long-term and arduous task, let us start now to make our planet more beautiful!
